Sorry, but these are quite low in quality (except the first), and poorly organized, with lots of redundancies. I'll try to clean this up if I get a chance, but I probably won't get a chance. The images were taken with a first generation fixed focus 381 K pixel (about 1/3 M pixel) camera with very limited aperture control, and no preview screen, by a novice user (me). Almost all of the interior shots, and many exterior shots were originally so dark as to be useless, so I brightened them with file edits. But of course that reduced the already crude quality even further. While I'm getting more accustomed to the camera, the primary reality is that images I take with this camera will be of quite limited quality until I can justify the expense of a better camera (which is getting closer as prices continue to fall.)
The aircraft looks more rough in these images than it does in reality, as best I can judge. Extensive pressure washing has caused a lot of paint removal, most of which comes off as chips, leaving surfaces looking like they're corroded in these images, even though in most cases they aren't. Paint loss is a necessary evil at this time. In fact, I'd prefer that all the overcoat paint (as opposed to the underlying corrosion preventative primer) come off when pressure washed, but that's not it's nature. When the more important things are completed, and I've moved in, I'll attend to beautification with a new coating of some sort - hopefully something much longer lasting than traditional paint. Maybe I can eventually get it to look like the Braniff 727 in the first image, which was obviously a new aircraft at the time the image was captured, right out of the paint shop (courtesy Boeing).
